LDS Attack on Prophet Joseph Smith Revelations / Hypocrisy on evolution

"Brigham Young University (often referred to as BYU or, colloquially, The Y) is a private research university located in Provo, Utah, United States. It is owned and operated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church)". (Brigham Young University, Wikipedia)

Their research revolves around scorning the revelations of Joseph Smith, like this one on the age of the world:

JOSEPH SMITH:  THIS EARTH IS 7000 YEARS OLD

"Q. What are we to understand by the book which John saw, which was sealed on the back with seven seals?  A. We are to understand that it contains the revealed will, mysteries, and the works of God; the hidden things of his economy concerning this earth during the seven thousand years of its continuance, or its temporal existence."  (Joseph Smith, Doctrine and Covenants 77, 1832)

BRIGHAM YOUNG UNIVERSITY:  THE WORLD IS AT LEAST 69 MILLION YEARS OLD

The BYU paleontology museum explains its remains of the triceratops dinosaur are at least 69 million years old.  (see at left from BYU Paleontology Museum, click to enlarge)

FALSE LDS CLAIM

"The story and distinctive beliefs of the Latter-day Saints began with Joseph Smith's quest for religious truth." (see graphic at right from Temple Square visitors' center)

The "distinctive" LDS beliefs on evolution and the age of the earth are directly contrary to the prophetic revelations of Joseph Smith.

LDS EXPOSED BY SCRIPTURE AS CULT

"To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them."   (Isaiah 8:20, Holy Bible)

GOD AS CREATOR - MADE ALL LIVING THINGS

"Hearken, O ye people of my church, to whom the kingdom has been given; hearken ye and give ear to him who laid the foundation of the earth, who made the heavens and all the hosts thereof, and by whom all things were made which live, and move, and have a being." (Joseph Smith, Doctrine and Covenants 45:1, 1831)  This worldview cannot be reconciled with modern LDS teachings as showcased at BYU.  (see "210 million year-old" petrified wood at the BYU paleontology museum, picture at right, click to enlarge)

And why does the LDS church disagree with Prophet Joseph Smith?  "Behold, verily I say unto you, that there are many spirits which are false spirits, which have gone forth in the earth, deceiving the world." (Joseph Smith, Doctrine and Covenants 50:2, 1831)

BUT WHAT ABOUT WHEN THE LDS MISSIONARIES CLAIM TO HAVE "THE BURNING" AS THEY TEACH BIG BANG EVOLUTION?

"Behold, verily I say unto you, that there are many spirits which are false spirits, which have gone forth in the earth, deceiving the world." (Joseph Smith, Doctrine and Covenants 50:2, 1831)

JOSEPH SMITH PROPHECY FULFILLED IN OUR DAY

Oh, these men like to claim to be prophets and apostles, but

"And liars and hypocrites shall be proved by them, and they who are not apostles and prophets shall be known." (Joseph Smith, Doctrine and Covenants 64:39, 1831)

And where can we find these hypocrites and fake apostles?

They hang out at BYU.
